Job Description:

A Security Software Developer specializes in creating secure applications and systems, integrating security measures throughout the software development lifecycle. They work on designing, coding, and maintaining software with a focus on protecting against vulnerabilities and threats. This role involves collaborating with other developers and security teams to ensure that all software products meet the highest security standards and comply with relevant regulations.

Skills and Experience:

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript

- In-depth understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities

- Experience with application security testing tools and methodologies

- Knowledge of cryptography and encryption algorithms

- Familiarity with web application security and API security

- Understanding of common attack vectors and how to mitigate them

- Experience with secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC)

- Proficiency in code review techniques to identify security flaws

- Knowledge of security frameworks and libraries

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools

- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Language Requirement:

Strong English language abilities at a minimum of EFSET C1 level

Required Certifications:

- CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

- CompTIA Security+

Optional Certifications:

- GIAC Secure Software Programmer (GSSP)

- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

- OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
