The Opportunity:
 

CACI is seeking a highly qualified Information Systems Security Officer  (ISSO) to support on-site operations at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure systems are configured, operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices.

  • Oversee configuration and administration of auditing, ensuring audit trails are reviewed periodically and archived.

  • Work closely with IT and system administrators to ensure all security-related functions and activities are performed.

  • Introduce and implement methodologies to identify, evaluate, and minimize risks to IT systems.

  • Maintain system security throughout its lifecycle in accordance with the Systems Security Plan (SSP).

  • ·Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages.

  • Assist with development of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts.

  • Manage privacy requirements in collaboration with Data Guardians and Privacy Advisors.

  • Report and manage IT Security and Privacy Incidents.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • An active TS/SCI with Poly.

  • Active IAM Level II Certification (CGRC, CASP, CISM, CISSP, CCISO) or above.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10 years of relevant working experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Familiarity with security policies, manuals, and guiding policy documents (e.g., DCIDs/JAFANs).

  • Strong knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework and Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems.


Desired:

  • Experience working in a DoD environment.

  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) processes.

  • Knowledge of Special Access Programs (SAPs).

  • Familiarity with Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) inventory management.

  • Experience with desktop security support and enterprise policy development.

  • Experience with certification and accreditation processes.

  • Experience with continuous monitoring and risk management practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
