Job Description

As a CISO Engineer at Motorola Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure integration of IT systems and services across our organization. You will work closely with the IT and cybersecurity teams to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our company's data and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of secure IT integration strategies.
• Conduct security assessments and audits of current and new IT integrations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security best practices are followed during system development and integration.
• Design and maintain a comprehensive IT security architecture for the organization.
• Respond to and investigate security breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for data security, compliance, and IT best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on information security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, threats, and trends to ensure our defenses are always ahead of potential threats.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CISO or similar information security role.
• Strong understanding of IT system integration and associated security challenges.
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Knowledge of information security technologies, including firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in risk assessment and management methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are highly desirable.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with cloud security and integrations.
• Prior experience in a regulated industry.
• Project management experience.
