InfoSec Business Partner for Technology

Role description:

Oversees all information security activities within Technology, and ensures the risk stays within Risk Appetite. Is a Trusted Advisor for Technology.

Reporting Lines: Reports Information Security Director (deputy-GISO); Indirect Reports (Dotted line):  Information Security Specialists indirectly report to InfoSec Business Partner (BISO) for Technology. 

Global scope/location, position can be filled in any location where Arcadis has a legal entity.

Role accountabilities:

Individual Responsibilities: 

Business Partner 

• Collaborate with all senior stakeholders within Technology (Tech leadership and levels below).
• Show continuous engagement in activities and projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor for all within Technology.
• Build lasting relationships and promote Infosec principles and strategies.
• Be an enabler of Technology objectives in alignment with InfoSec strategies.

Risk Management 

• Coordinate and execute security risk assessments and any follow-up activities.
• Develop a network of colleagues (Team leaders and Business Process Owners) to always be involved and notified of any potential information security risks.
• Review technical designs and architecture diagrams.
• Translate Arcadis policies into technical requirements for IT systems and services.
• Ensure timely escalation of high risks when needed.
• Design, own, and improve risk assessments and processes in line with business objectives and InfoSec strategy.
• Be a member of the Arcadis CAB (Change Advisory Board)

Key skills and capabilities

• Guide, train, and coach Information Security Specialists.
• Build and maintain the Information Security Risk Landscape together with the other three InfoSec business partners.
• Share relevant information with other business partners and team members.
• Drive continuous information security posture improvement within Technology.

• Drive continuous information security posture improvement within GBA Intelligence

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years experience in IT security and 3 years in Security Architecture within a multinational engineering, professional services, or similar global firm.
  • Driving Innovation: Experience in generating and driving innovation, engaging with peers on new processes and solutions, and working with alliances and ecosystems to deliver the best outcomes.
  • Managing change: Managing and leading change into other services or products, operating with new business models, turning around underperforming programs, and driving standardization and automation.
  • Data and technology: Adopting data-driven decision-making, leveraging data to create and demonstrate value. Tech savvy, and comfortable, and curious about technologies.
• Demonstrates strong project management skills, takes ownership, and achieves results; drives improvement.
• Establishes good relations while staying critical; can deal with resistance and escalates timely.
