EMEA Network Engineering Lead

The Opportunity

A career in Information Security will provide you with the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the global PwC network. You will focus on being the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of our data, network and protect our firm's intellectual assets.

What you will be doing: 

• Engaging technology stakeholders at all levels to explain complex security technologies & manage deployment & implementation pipelines 

• Building and maintaining complex cyber security programs while supervising teams to execute the strategy. 

• Engaging with Security Architecture to capture design requirements to deliver new capabilities into the network security stack based on business requirements. 

• Demonstrates and has a proven record of success as a team leader. 

• Translating overall strategy by leading or managing others and performing work with significant independence. 

• Working knowledge of scripting, firewalls, IDS, IPS, WAF and networking 

• Working knowledge of multi-cloud networking and security 

What we need from you:

• Minimum Years of Experience:  6 year(s) of progressive professional roles involving information security and/or IT management. 

• Preferred Qualifications:  Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience and industry certification such as CISSP 

• Significant experience developing and implementing network security solutions 

• Experience engaging business and technology stakeholders at all levels to gather long term goals and requirements 

• Understanding of how to design and build security technology solutions aligned to a global centralised service environment 

• Understanding of security technology at an enterprise solution level 

• Hands on engineering experience with enterprise network security technologies 

• Experience driving the implementation and adoption of technology across large scale organisations 

• Experience working in a complex, global organisation
