Job Description
HII’s Mission Technologies Division has an immediate opportunity for a junior-level Industrial Security Analyst on the System Acquisition Engineering Fighters/Bombers Team. The position is within the Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The selected candidate will perform security support functions as required to include acquisition program security, personnel security, and physical security functions.
The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, quick learner, with experience in a Department of Defense Program Office environment. The candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative work environment. Most importantly, the candidate must have a strong desire to be part of a world-class team supporting the most advanced aircraft systems on the planet.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Develop and administer security programs and procedures at the Directorate and Program Office levels to include proper handling and safeguarding of personnel data, classified or proprietary technical data, materials, documents, and equipment
- Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to Government organization, Directorate, and Program Office operations
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from other government agencies
- Prepare security-related documentation to include security-related contract and acquisition program documentation as assigned
- Build security training material and track personnel completion and compliance with security training requirements
- Assist with investigation of security violations to include preparing reports specifying preventive action to be taken
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years relevant experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry advancements
- US Citizenship and Secret Security Clearance and the ability to be upgraded to a TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements
Office environment. Computer use required. Light lifting and moving materials may be required.
