• Lead and conduct in-depth research into emerging cyber threats, technologies, and methodologies, including threat actors and their ecosystems.
• Analyze advanced cyberattack techniques, vulnerabilities, and threat landscapes.
• Monitor academic and industry publications to identify and explore new areas of study in threat intelligence that can enhance the company’s offerings and maintain competitive advantage.
• Develop proof-of-concept tools and techniques to test and validate new ideas.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and incident response units, to align research efforts with organizational goals such as product development.
• Author technical papers, whitepapers, or patents to contribute to the company’s intellectual property portfolio.
• Mentor junior researchers, interns and team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and forums, presenting research findings and innovations.

Qualifications requirements:

• Education & Experience:
• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with significant hands-on experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity research, whether in industry or academia.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with areas such as threat intelligence, malware analysis, reverse engineering, network security, or vulnerability research.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java) and familiarity with security tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, Wireshark).
• Experience with machine learning or AI applications in cybersecurity is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Fluency in English
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience in solving complex problems and translating them into working solutions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
