Technology is responsible for the world leading application of technology across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business.  

As Product Owner for Security Analytics (SIEM), you will be responsible for improving our existing roadmap, maintaining the availability and stability of our current products and driving the implementation of new product across Technology.

Do work that matters:

Reporting to the Crew Lead you will:  

• Lead the development of product roadmaps and engage with stakeholders/business units to manage delivery
• Define product vision and goals in collaboration with customer and stakeholders
• Apply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs and successfully achieve business and Squad objectives
• Accountable for end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management
• Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations
• Act as the voice of the customer and business and translate this for the team
• Role model continuous improvement and customer focus
• Advocate for the experience/domain/applications when supporting businesses on what is possible to drive effective outcomes
• Drive product exploration and formulate hypotheses to validate product strategy
• Support team metric improvements i.e. team health, agile maturity in partnership with Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters
• Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work
• Maintain a healthy and prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes
• Engage business and technical stakeholders to ensure prioritisation is understood and agreed to
• Manage the Squad’s performance to defined objectives including Objective and Key Results (OKR) tracking, etc.

We are interested in hearing from people who

• Possess the ability to influence stakeholders and make prioritisation decisions
• Can coach and challenge constructively
• Have an understanding of Agile practices and standards
• Are experienced in Product and Services Management
• Have experience in either Business Performance, Technology & Business Delivery or managing people as a virtual team.
