Security Manager with focus on Vulnerability Management (m/f/d) (Ref.No. R1007573) at our location in Ditzingen near Stuttgart

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

As Security Manager with focus on Vulnerability Management (m/f/d) you will oversee all aspects of the vulnerability management process within the railway domain. Your work will ensure the effective management of security vulnerabilities to maintain the safety and reliability of our products and systems.

It also involves the following tasks:

  • You operate within the Main Line Signalling (MLS) security policy

  • You receive, distribute, and track all security-related information and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) for all products and software components used in MLS solutions

  • Identifying relevant stakeholders and actively involve them in the process

  • Managing vulnerability entries in the ticketing system is also part of your responsibilities

  • You oversee and maintain the Asset and Configuration Management Database (ACDB) for Hitachi Rail products

  • Finally, you document progress in addressing known vulnerabilities and prepare reports for management

You have:

  • You have a successfully completed technical Bachelor´s or Master´s degree, preferably in the field of information technology, information security, or cybersecurity

  • Ideally, you have experience in the information security domain and product development

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and security principles best practices would be advantageous

  • Your organizational skills allow you to coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders in a continuous lifecycle process efficiently

  • Experience in working with international and multidisciplinary teams completes your profile

  • You are fluent in English, verbally and written and you have preferable good German skills
