ISS STOXX is growing! ISS STOXX is actively seeking a Compliance Fraud Risk Assessment Specialist to join the Mumbai team (Goregaon East).

Overview:

The ISS STOXX Compliance department is looking to add a Compliance Fraud Risk Assessment Specialist in building out its Compliance Management System (CMS) in relation to Business Partners as well as Criminal Offenses. This individual will primarily have day-to-day responsibility for the organization and performance of 2nd line of defense compliance processes in relation to International Sanctions, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Criminal Offenses. The reporting line will be to the Head of Governance & Corporate Compliance.     

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and updating of policies and procedures relating to International Sanctions, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Criminal Offenses.

• Creating and maintaining a code of conduct and compliance clauses for Business Partners

• Performing risks assessments in relation to the policy topics

• Designing dedicated risk assessment framework on Criminal Offenses

• Cooperation with the Procurement on the onboarding of Business Partners

• Work with the dedicated control functions in Compliance to review and test first line compliance controls, identify potential gaps and advise on mitigating measures

• Perform investigations on issues and incidents relating to relevant matters

• Oversee sanctions monitoring services provided by third parties

• Deliver reports to stakeholders

• Contribute to Customer Due Diligence and internal and external audits

Qualifications:

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in any related field is preferred.

• Three years' experience in a similar role.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Independent initiative and critical thinking skills.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
