THE OPPORTUNITY
This Cybersecurity Engineer position can work remotely within the U.S.
The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the IT security infrastructure, assisting with articulating technical security requirements, monitoring the effectiveness of the existing IT security framework, making recommendations for enhancements, and raising the level of security awareness. The role holder will be part of the security team that safeguards the infrastructure and information across the company worldwide. This role involves designing, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and configuring key security services that will enable the business to meet its strategic goals and initiatives.
The ISA will establish strong collaborative relationships with other groups in the organization and will be responsible for the analysis and creation of detailed technical and functional data specifications, data architecture, security policies, and standards, establishing data governance to preserve data integrity and security across the organization. This job function has accountability for complying with the applicable elements of the Global Quality Framework and the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS).
What You’ll Work On
Develop and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure for multiple software products and support systems in tandem with architects and system engineers.
Work with development teams throughout the SDLC to implement monitoring and security solutions within embedded product software and supporting applications
Perform or support security testing such as penetration tests, fuzz testing and internal/external audits. Coordinate remediation efforts as needed.
Optimize system security design build out by creating and reviewing architecture and detailed design solutions that reflect best practices.
Support breach and incident response activities for product and supporting applications
Implement technical security solutions to support both host based and containerized architectures
Assist with defining expectations for and conducting rigorous oversight of security systems configurations
Support physical device security by determining and implementing secure product practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in product cybersecurity or related field
Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices
Experience with developing and maintaining security governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH) are a plus
