You'll be part of a team that is responsible for the Security of Grab Cloud platform which is one of the largest deployments in the region.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to take a lead on the infrastructure security engineering projects.You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and be based onsite in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. We believe you have cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, integration, and development skills. As we are expanding our regional infrastructure security capabilities, you will work with a great team working on complex architectures and managing cloud security of one of the largest cloud deployments in the region.

• Be a Code Owner: Take pride in your code! Ensure it’s not only functional but also readable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested.

• Prompt Issue Resolution: Stay ahead by responding quickly to any issues, keeping the team in the loop, and delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Proficient in deploying public cloud services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 1+ years of experience with any backend development language.
• Experience with Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Committed to maintaining a set of software engineering skills.
• An understanding of clean architecture principles.
