What will I be doing:
As a Cyber Analyst, you will be tasked with visualising how Darktrace products have positively impacted our clients’ businesses. You will be in the thick of the action, analysing technical data to identify potential cyber threats and give our clients the peace of mind that they are protected by Darktrace’s suite of products. You'll be given extensive training and support as you develop in the role. This role offers candidates with strong technical and scientific backgrounds the opportunity to commence a career in the dynamic and exciting industry of cyber security.
This is a permanent position based out of our Cambridge or London Office, with expected attendance of 2 days a week.
Within this role you’ll be using the Darktrace product suite and supporting tools to investigate alerts, write reports and perform real-time and retrospective analysis for ongoing incidents on the SOC. You’ll be identifying threat trends and investigating campaigns across Darktrace’s customer environments and producing technical blog posts summarizing Darktrace’s detections and approach to various threats. In this role you will also apply your analytical knowledge to customer-facing engagements as a technical expert through our Consultancy function. Opportunities for contributing to Darktrace’s evolution through projects such as programming and internal model development are regularly encouraged.
What experience do I need:
We welcome applications who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can clearly communicate technical information in written and oral form and be confident presenting to customers. We are seeking an organised, pro-active individual who is adaptable to change and comfortable working independently and part of a diverse team. You’ll also have:
- A keen eye for detail, and strong deduction capabilities to analyse and problem solve technical issues,
- A university degree or equivalent work experience in a technical subject such as engineering, computer science, physics or mathematics,
- Work experience or personal interest in a Cyber, Research, Intelligence or Analysis,
- Fluency in a foreign language (French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish) would be highly favourable.
