Working as part of a dynamic 24/7 Security Operations team, you will monitor and respond to security incidents, perform real-time analysis of threats, and enforce security best practices across the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and contribute to maintaining the integrity of a global fintech platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Monitoring & Incident Response
  • Monitor security events and alerts in real-time using Azure Sentinel (SIEM), ensuring timely detection and escalation of potential threats.
  • Perform triage, analysis, and initial containment of security incidents, escalating complex issues to senior team members as necessary.
  • Actively contribute to the incident response lifecycle, including evidence collection, root cause analysis, and documentation in tools like PagerDuty.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational incident management protocols and support post-incident reviews.
  • Vulnerability and Threat Management
  • Assist in daily vulnerability assessments using tools like Wiz and Qualys, tracking vulnerabilities in Jira, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure timely remediation.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, analyzing threat intelligence feeds to identify risks relevant to the organization’s environment.
  • Support penetration testing activities by validating findings and coordinating remediation with the appropriate teams.

Operational Security

  • Review and manage logs in platforms like NetSkope, ensuring compliance with policies and detection of anomalous behaviors.
  • Monitor and maintain endpoint protection tools, such as SentinelOne, ensuring devices are adequately protected and up-to-date.
  • Support identity and access management activities by reviewing permissions in Active Directory (AD) and OKTA for anomalies or unauthorized access.
  • Contribute to the enforcement of PCI DSS controls, including evidence collection for audits and maintaining compliance.

Collaboration and Documentation

  • Work closely with the engineering and IT teams to resolve security issues and enforce security controls across cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Document incident response actions, findings, and lessons learned to contribute to a continuously improving security program.
  • Develop and update playbooks, ensuring that all analysts can respond consistently to common threats and incidents.

Shift Work and Coverage

  • Provide 24/7 security coverage on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous monitoring of the environment.
  • Act as the first point of contact during assigned shifts, escalating high-priority incidents promptly.
