The essence of the role
The Head of Technical Operations will serve as a strategic leader at the forefront of the company’s technological direction. This role is responsible for overseeing all IT operations, infrastructure, platform applications, and data management, ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives to drive efficiency, security, and scalability. As a key player in advancing data protection, compliance, and operational excellence, the Head of Technical Operations will play a pivotal role in enabling sustainable growth and technological advancement across the organization.
As our new ROLE you will:
- Experience: 20+ Yrs.
- Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and implement an innovative IT strategy that aligns with business goals, identifying and prioritizing initiatives that maximize impact and business value.
- Security Governance: Integrate security best practices across IT operations, network design, and cloud environments to ensure a secure and resilient infrastructure.
- SAAS Platform operations: Oversee the technical support and management of business-critical SAAS Platforms, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and deliver optimal performance.
- Executive Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating strong people management, business acumen, and the ability to drive results through collaboration and coalition building across teams.
Core Functions:
- Security Architecture: Design and maintain a robust IT and cloud security framework that proactively mitigates risks while supporting business agility.
- Incident Response: Lead and manage the organization’s response to security incidents, ensuring rapid mitigation and clear communication with stakeholders throughout.
- Security Awareness & Training: Cultivate a culture of security awareness by providing ongoing training and updates on best practices, threat intelligence, and emerging security challenges.
- Vendor Risk Management: Evaluate and monitor third-party vendors for compliance with the company’s security standards, ensuring the protection of data and systems across the supply chain.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of technical operations, providing regular reports and actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- IT Governance & Risk Management: Ensure that IT operations adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and manage risks through comprehensive IT risk management frameworks.
Who are you?
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading change, managing high-performing teams, and achieving results in a fast-paced, evolving corporate environment.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, security frameworks, and SAAS applications.
- Strategic Vision: Strong ability to align IT initiatives with business priorities, manage resources effectively, and foster a culture of continuous innovation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced certifications or an MBA is a plus.
