Callsign’s Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in interpreting complex data sets to demonstrate and enhance the value of our solutions to clients. You will be responsible for data manipulation, cleansing, ETL processes, visualisation, reporting, aggregation, inference, and statistical analysis. The role will sit in our Customer Success function and have a key impact to our ability to deliver data-driven insights and improvements for our clients.

Requirements

Key responsibilities for the role holder will include:

  • Work with and interpret large and complex data sets, transforming these in preparation for analysis (querying, cleansing and normalising data from a range of data sources with different structures (e.g. JSON, tabular))
  • Conduct statistical analysis and inference to inform decision-making processes
  • Create and manage data visualisations and reports using AWS and Google’s toolsets, amongst others
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and perform root-cause analysis when significant changes occur
  • Attend customer workshops and meetings, communicating findings and recommendations to clients in a concise and actionable manner
  • Act as a key feedback point to enable the suite of Callsign's solution to continually evolve and improve to meet current and future client requirements
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Integration teams, advocate client analytics requests internally and actively support development of Callsign’s analytics capabilities
  • There is a requirement to spend time on site with clients (periodic travel may be required) to work collaboratively with client business and data teams in harnessing value from the solution.

Key Skills Requirements for the Role

  • Demonstrable experience of manipulating large, complex data sets utilising leading data analysis platforms (e.g. Python, SQL, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Athena)
  • Demonstrable experience with data visualization tools (AWS QuickSight, Google Looker, Tableau)
  • Ability to work with incomplete, complex data to derive conclusions and clearly articulate recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders
  • An understanding of fraud & security technologies such as multi-factor authentication, threat intelligence, transaction monitoring and identity and access management.

Additional Skills for the Role (not mandatory, but nice to have)

  • Financial Services experience within Retail, Private or Commercial banking Experience within Digital Transformation, Fraud or Cyber Security sectors
  • Have an understanding of industry regulations and frameworks such as PSD2 SCA, Open Banking
  • Applied machine learning experience
