Job Description:

 The ideal candidate will provide responsive, flexible, adaptive, and timely solutions to satisfy current and future IT requirements The Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with visualization concepts, understand architecture, and understand JavaScript, XML, Active Directory, VMWARE, and Windows 2016. Candidates should be able to work with minimum supervision. Must demonstrate experience as a team player, is collaborative in personal style, and has a history of working well with others. Openness and honesty characterize the ideal incumbent, having unquestioned integrity, self-responsibility, and personal initiative.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

  •  Develops and maintains code and associated test scripts to meet defined requirements.
  • Supports the planning of systems and development deployments as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
  • Evaluates the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and the characteristics of an overall system.
  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensuring the hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinating and/or modifying systems parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • Revises existing systems, testing functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input requirements, and storage.
  • Provide the documentation, testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations.
  • Practical application and troubleshooting experience with systems that interface with Active Directory, in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment.
  • Experience running scripts to manage/automate tasks related to Windows platforms.
  • Customer support experience to include phone, email and in person contact as well as experience assisting end users with new desktop capabilities and/or software. 
  • Collaborates with other members of the Solution Architecture team to complete integration with required core services, system security plan and existing infrastructure.


Other Essential Functions: 
  • Employment is contingent upon obtaining all required certifications within the timeframe specified in a waiver by the government (if applicable) and maintaining required certifications through the duration of the contract. 
  • Failure to obtain/maintain required certifications will result in disqualification for this position and could result in termination.
  •  Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels.
  • Candidate must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards
  • Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
  • The position for which you are applying for requires a US government security clearance. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Active Top Secret
  • US Citizenship
  • 10+ years focused on: (1) Architecting, designing, engineering, integrating, deploying, and maintaining data center Infrastructure preferably within the DOD.; (2) Hardware to include compute, network, & storage; (3) Implementing DOD Security Controls; (4) VMware System Administration experience; (5) Developing documentation for architectures, designs, engineering, and operational suppor
  • Fifteen (15) or more years engineering experience in the design, development and implementation of software development tools to include developing and testing software solutions; analyzing system performance standards, analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; conferring with users and management to derive system requirements; problem investigation and resolution.
  • Engineering experience with Microsoft Active Directory to include : Granting privileged Access, Configuring Active Directory Services (ADDS), Group Policy, Objects, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), File Sharing services, Active roles Server (ARS).
  • Experience providing Tier 3 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment. 
  • Experience creating quality Detailed Design documents, Test Plans, Implementation Plans and Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology

    Skills
  • Ability to harden VMware environments according to DISA STIG
  • Ability to mentor junior and mid-level team members to be more proficient in the tasks and activities associated with the management of a cloud environment
  • Experience with cloud/server/network implementation and with Cloud infrastructure Services or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) support.
  • 5 years of experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks.

Must possess at minimum a TS/SCI Clearance. It is preferred that the candidate possess a TS/SCI with a CI Poly security clearance. Personnel must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a final TS/SCI security clearance.


Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT-related field and/or combination of experience and education.

Baseline certification: DoD 8570 IAT II certification, Security+, One of the following DoD approved certifications is necessary to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DoD 8570) requirement for this position: GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, GCED
Other Certifications: MCSE, VMware Certified Professional or Advance Professional certification, Windows 2019, Active Directory.
