JOB SUMMARY
The Consumer Direct Care Network team provides care and support for people in their homes and communities. The IT Security Analyst I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective security controls and protocols. While ensuring compliance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal security policies and standards. This position will also oversee vulnerability identification, conduct frequent security reviews and audits, and work closely with the team to assess all systems and software for security risks, and ensure timely addressing of identified vulnerabilities. It will also support day to day security operations.
JOB DUTIES
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate dependability
- Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents and events
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement patches and security improvements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security measures and controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices
- Demonstrate high level problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflow
- Respond to security incidents reported through tickets, following established protocols.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends
- Manage security-related projects from inception to completion
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects/work
- Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay current with industry best practices and advancements
- Prioritize and multitask effectively
- Promptly address and resolve incoming incidents and requests within agreed-upon time frames
- Develop and maintain documentation to incorporate proper processes and procedures as standards
- Provide peer mentoring, and training to coworkers in clear non-technical language
- Consistently monitor and review systems and processes to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for system security and data protection
- Participate in security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 3 years of IT Systems Support or Systems Administration with experience in a Microsoft environment
- Minimum 2 years experience with cybersecurity systems and technology controls preferred
- Associate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Be able to successfully pass a background screening
- Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position.
