Types of Roles:
Information Technology (Risk Management) Intern
Paramount's Information Security Vendor Risk Management team works alongside all Paramount+ divisions and brands. As an international team covering all time zones, the team identifies business and high-risk concerns related to numerous Paramount+ executions/projects/programming and helps create solutions to cultivate 3rd party relationships between vendors and Paramount+.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Information Security preferred
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Experience with risk management and vendor assessments preferred
Security Engineering
The Security Engineering team is part of the larger Information Security team, and provides services for Application Security, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, and Security Automation and Orchestration. Our team works closely with engineering teams across all business units to secure critical company applications such as Paramount+, BET+, Showtime, and more. If you have knowledge of network protocols and secure network design as well as, security assessments and penetration testing this may be the role for you!
Qualifications:
- Software knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Python/Javascript
- Cybersecurity/Information Security, computer science, or any engineering major
- Knowledge of basic penetration testing tools and techniques, as well as network architecture understanding, operating system exploitation tactics and techniques, and endpoint protection deployment methods
- Knowledge of SOAR (Security, Orchestration, Automation and Response) Technologies
- Understanding of AWS Environment - Good coding skills; preferably Python - Experience with GitHub, Terraform
Information Security Architecture
The Information Security – Security Architecture Team (IS-SA), a part of Paramount Information Security, works closely with various Paramount IT (Information Technology) teams and partners. Conducting security assessments and design reviews, verification, and validation, identifying and tracking security findings and risks, are some of the core activities of the team. If you have curiosity about assisting with the activities in any of the areas mentioned above then this is the right internship for you.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel
- Excellent technical writing & documentation skills
- Information technology or similar programs preferred
Vulnerability Management
The Vulnerability Management (VM) team is part of the broader Paramount Information Security organization. The group works with technical groups across the entire enterprise to ensure that information security vulnerabilities are identified on all Paramount Global systems and remediated to mitigate risks. We accomplish this through vulnerability scanning, analysis, and prioritization activities with both internal and external partners. The intern will review the vulnerability scan results, under the mentorship of VM collaborators, to prioritize remediation activities. Approximately 40% of the intern's work includes crafting and tracking tickets for remediation activities across numerous Paramount Global tech teams. If being a part of the wider team that helps identify and remediated security vulnerabilities sounds appealing then this internship is for you!
Qualifications:
- Information Security or similar tech based major preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Privacy Analyst
The central privacy team works with all paramount brands and is responsible for privacy requirements on various platforms and regions. We are made up of lawyers, technologists, program managers and product experts all with the mission of incorporating privacy in paramount products & services. The Privacy Analyst Intern is in charge of aiding the operational day to day management and implementation of the Paramount Consent Management Platform. If working on projects related to ongoing compliance with data protection and privacy laws, advertising industries and related requirements then this position may be a fit for you!
Qualifications:
- Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel
- Superb technical writing & documentation skills
- Information technology or similar programs preferred
- Interest in Privacy
Content Protection & Information Security
We provide Content Protection and Anti-Piracy services, as well as social media monitoring and intelligence gathering to assist Corp Security with investigations of threats made towards staff or talent. We monitor social media to identity leakers of reality TV plots or eliminations and attempts to disrupt productions. If reviewing and advancing detected alerts from social media interests you this could be a great fit.
Qualifications:
- Major in Information Security, Cloud Security or related field
- Interest in content protection and social media
- Superb communication and time management skills
Eligibility:

Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors or Master's students in the fall of 2025. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities closer to your graduation date.

You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.

Interns will be required to work hybrid or fully on-site for the duration of the program.

Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).

Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The hourly rate for this position is $22 - 38.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
