Job Description

• The role of IT Infrastructure –Cloud and DevOps Engineer is a specialist role and involve the following roles and responsibilities:
• Architect, deploy, and manage services on one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Good hands-on experience on deploying, configuring and troubleshooting of Kubernetes environment (on premise/cloud)
• Experience on deploying microservices applications on K8s clusters
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and ensure consistent deployment across environments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Argo CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes.
• Create and maintain Helm charts for application deployment.
• Manage container lifecycle, including image builds, deployments, and scaling.
• Write, test, and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud-native services.
• Set up logging and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and operations to improve the development and deployment processes.
• Implement and manage security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Good hands-on experience on configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
• Good to have experience on OpenShift.
• Good communication and verbal skill

Desired Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud and DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Proficiency in Python or strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience: 6 to 9 years

Education: B.Tech. / BS in Computer Science

Technical Skills & Certifications

• Relevant OEM Level Certifications from:
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Terraform
• Kubernetes
