Manager Security Operations

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
• Lead daily security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and threat detection.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing security projects and team members.
• Collaborate with other teams to address security concerns and align security efforts with business objectives.
• Support security awareness and training initiatives.
• Participate in security incident investigations and response.
• Assist in security technology evaluations and recommendations.
• Maintain and report on key security metrics.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Proven experience in security operations
• Proficiencies in security technologies and tools including but not limited to Windows and Linux operating systems
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:
• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $100,500 - $186,700.
