Job Description:

CSO – Advanced Threat Analysis & Investigations is a subject-matter expert group within the Information Security Operations space of Deutsche Bank. The group is responsible for protecting the Deutsche Bank IT infrastructure by performing in-depth analysis of cyber-security related incidents and driving mitigation and defensive controls.


The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring that solutions are well architected, with maintainability and ease of testing built in from the outset, and that they can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow. They will have gained significant experience through multiple implementations and have begun to develop both depth and breadth in a number of engineering competencies. They have extensive knowledge of design and architectural patterns. They will provide engineering thought leadership within their teams, and will play a role in mentoring and coaching of less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

- Providing a stable system environment for the developer team.

- Incident management, upgrades, rollouts of the underlying systems.

- Monitoring the systems, extending the monitoring functions and generating metric reports.

- Moreover the engineer should have a proactive style for documentation and a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Skills

- 5+ years of experience as Software Engineer, Data Engineer or DevOps.

- 3-5 years of experience in Linux and (CLI) command line management. Experience with Debian/Ubuntu is a must.

- At least 1-3 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code (SaltStack, Ansible)

- 3 years of python experience.

- 1-3 years of experience with CI/CD as well as Docker (Jenkins, GitLab).

- The engineer should have experience with Remote and Cluster management.

- 1-3 years of experience with issue tracking systems (such as Jira).

 -Relevant technologies for the role: Celery + RabbitMQ

- Database interaction (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)
