The range for this role is $57,000 - $77,000

Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 5% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.

Interested candidates must be willing and able to work onsite minimum 3 times per week in our Melbourne, FL office.

The Job

The Compliance Analyst serves as a liaison between the Ministry departments and the Legal Department, ensuring that Ministry policies reflect appropriate attention to principles of corporate governance, as well as legal and regulatory compliance, and adherence to leadership’s articulated risk tolerance. Develop, document, disseminate, and enforce ministry policies based on internal requirements as well as external regulation.  Responsible for assisting Ministry employees with drafting, managing, and disseminating internal policies related to corporate governance, and providing resources and guidance on external regulatory matters, including but not limited to, state and Federal regulatory requirements related to healthcare sharing, marketing, privacy, HIPAA and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards(PCI-DSS).

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, disseminate, and implement internal Ministry policies, as required by leadership and individual teams
  • Research industry regulation, policy, and reporting requirements (HIPAA, DOI, etc.)
  • Analyze and update policies as required
  • Manage compliance certifications, regulatory approvals, and corporate governance needs
  • Assist with compliance training needs
  • Develop processes to ensure team member compliance with written policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports for Internal Audit, Governance Committee, and other leadership as requested to manage and monitor corporate compliance.
  • Oversee scheduling and execution of process self-checks and audits in Ministry departments
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry’s Christian beliefs
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Essential Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with banking and financial services regulation
  • Experience and understanding of data privacy and basic cybersecurity risk management
  • Ability to gather requirements, develop a solution, and drive to execution
  • Ability to document and explain risks/vulnerabilities to key stakeholders throughout CCM
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills
  • Data collection and analysis skill – work independently and provide guidance to others on data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work history
  • Risk Management Certification preferred or sought (e.g., CIPP, CISA, HCSO, etc.)
