Responsibilities
*Design and implement security policies, protocols, and standards that safeguard data integrity and confidentiality across the organization.*Document incident response procedures and maintain security protocols.*Conduct regular security audits and prepare compliance reports.*Perform daily security monitoring and vulnerability assessments.*Coordinate incident response efforts and provide security awareness training for employees.
Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification preferred.*10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.*Strong skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, risk management, incident response, and knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).*Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.*Proven experience with incident response, risk assessment, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).*Analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.*Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.*Remote working experience*Minimal travel, primarily for annual team meetings or occasional site assessments.*Flexible work schedule with a preference for EST time zone
Nice to have
*Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure), and familiarity with DevSecOps practices.*Advanced scripting knowledge.
