IT Systems Engineer position with focus on cyberspace-IT project management and coordination.
Duties:-Oversee applied research and experimentation projects.-Charged with engineering projects that develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities to aid DOD cyberspace operations.-Coordinate with parties to ensure the mission effect is achieved and utilize technical expertise throughout to ensure a sound and secure delivery.-Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.-Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.-Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.-Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.-Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives.-Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.-Analyze complex information and independently take appropriate actions to resolve problems.-Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners.-Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers.-Work complex research projects as a senior contributor and as part of an integrated research team.-Design and deliver solutions.

Qualifications:-Possess an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph-Minimum 10 years of experience as a System Engineer-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline-Minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP)-Exposure to Cloud/AWS-A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution-Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)-Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
