Could you be the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer in Bangalore, we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your robust cybersecurity expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and cooperative teammates.

You'll safeguard our technical solutions by implementing and maintaining cybersecurity architecture in line with design directives and project contractual requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, IT, customer support), execute security engineering tasks, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of the evaluation of COTS products, the deployment and hardening of security devices, and participate in design reviews with a cybersecurity perspective, but also support tender teams with cybersecurity solutions for Alstom bids/tenders in the railway domain.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity architecture during project execution

  • Supporting the evaluation of COTS products in line with project needs

  • Executing security engineering tasks including the deployment, configuring and hardening of security devices

  • Participating in design reviews and challenging technical choices from a cybersecurity viewpoint

  • Providing support for technical issues, customer queries, and incident response

  • Collaborating across traditional engineering functions

  • Interfacing with the global Alstom cybersecurity technical team for new evolutions

  • Supporting the tender team on cybersecurity products/solutions for bids/tenders


All about you

  • Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in information technology and security, with knowledge or experience in embedded or industrial systems as a plus

  • Hands-on experience in deploying security products such as IDS/IPS, Syslogers, Controllers, WIPS, SIEM, Firewalls, etc.

  • Exposure to security areas such as security plans, systems security risk/vulnerability assessments, and network access control

  • Knowledge of security protocols (Radius, VPN, IP-SEC, SSH, etc.)

  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.)

  • Strong documentation and presentation skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (GICSP, CISSP, GSEC, CISM, etc.) are desirable

  • Knowledge of networking/network design is an added advantage
