monday.com is looking for an implementation and hands-on Senior IT Cyber Security Specialist, who enjoys Information security work and has both deep and wide expertise in the modern born to the cloud corporate security space.
You will make our corporate environment more secure by protecting system boundaries, securing highly sensitive data, managing and optimizing endpoint systems, improving our Identity & access protection, and being responsible for our corporate IT security systems.
Qualified candidates will have a solid background in IT system administration, deep experience and implementation of network security, extensive deep Information Security knowledge, and a great background working with a variety of modern cloud security systems, to protect, detect, and respond!
About The Role
- Hands-on deployment, management, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of IT and IT Security systems.
- Maintain and improve security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information security systems continuously.
- On-going maintenance of corporate security products in the organization, leveraging our security tools and protocols and always striving to raise the standard.
- Responsibility for defining controls & security health of our systems such as DLP, EDR, Mail relay, OKTA, ZTNA, Least privilege, etc.
- Escalation contact for the cyber security team for sophisticated security incidents.
- Detect and respond to possible threats.
- Find cost-effective solutions to modern cybersecurity problems.
- Develop and implement best practices and IT security standards for the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of security vulnerabilities and security gaps.
- Security certifications – CISSP, CISA, CISM - an advantage.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT Security or Information Security Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security: Strong foundation in IT security principles and practices, including knowledge of network security, vulnerability assessment, risk management, compliance, and incident response.
- Deep hands-on experience with a range of security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Continuous learning: a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
- Experience in building and maintaining IT security systems - DLP, Endpoint security, content filters, identity, and access.
- Effective communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills, with an ability to manage internal and external relationships.
- English at a very high level ( written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently, prioritize your tasks, and build strong co-elevating relationships across the organization.
- Experience with Security Saas applications.
- Knowledge/experience with Operating Systems (MAC (must), Windows).
- The position requires on-call shifts.
