We're now seeking a detail-oriented and analytical university student to join our team in the Wood Products Division as a Trainee in the position of Security Specialist.

As a Security Specialist Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in safeguarding the digital, and operational security of systems and platforms. This role is designed for candidates at the start of their career in security, offering training and mentorship to develop critical skills.

You'll assist in identifying potential threats, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.

You will be located in Ostrava and report to Experienced Project and Team Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cybersecurity Basics: Assist in monitoring networks, identifying vulnerabilities, and maintaining basic IT security practices.​

• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and corporate security policies. Document incidents and prepare reports.

• Risk Assessment: Participate in identifying potential security risks in operations and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align security measures with manufacturing goals.

• Disaster Recovery: Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans, ensuring quick response and recovery from incidents like natural disasters, cyberattacks, or operational disruptions.

Qualifications and skills we expect from you:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master degree in Business, Computer Science, or related

• Strong interest in Security and Software

• Basic proficiency in SQL and DevOps (DevSecOps)

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Eagerness to learn new technology

• English on intermediate level or higher
