What you’ll do & Who you areReporting to the Head of Privacy Business Advisory & Projects, as a Business Partner you work with relevant product, engineering, business teams and other departments to facilitate business development through responsible use of data and risk balance.
We are looking for you to join our team as a Privacy Advisory & Compliance Business Partner!
Here’s what you´ll do :
Contribute to define the privacy strategy and risk balance for the business and multiple functions within the organisation.
Assess risks suggest and implement mitigation actions
Handle data breaches and ensure their resolution, including incident response, investigation and mitigation
Manage data subject requests (DSRs) and inquiries in close connection with the Customer Service team
Support regulatory claims investigation and strategy
Be close to stakeholders to identify new projects or changes with an impact on privacy
Lead privacy projects and provide strategic advice
Collaborate with other teams to embed privacy considerations into the development of new products, technologies, and processes - including conducting assessments and DPIAs
Manage records of processing activities (ROPA) and privacy policies / notices
Provide advice or process management in relation to privacy aspects of contracts and third party management
Manage Compliance projects, monitor compliance with Sapin II , maintain anti-corruption measures (risk mapping, third-party assessment, alert collection, etc), monitor changes in law and implement them, maintain compliance contract clauses and Code of Conduct and provide training and operational support.
Implementation of required adjustments in response to legislative changes
Review and update of contractual clauses and compliance code
Amendments to our Code of Conduct
Organisation & implementation of training programs (Sapin II law, employee guidance and operational support)
Ensuring compliance with vigilance obligation
Monitoring of legal and regulatory developments
What you´ll bring :
Soft Skills :
Interpret complex regulations while conveying compliance requirements into simple and actionable steps and finding strategic solutions
The regulatory environment is in constant change, so embracing change and being responsive to new laws and industry dynamics is important, especially in an innovative company as Adevinta
Foster collaborative relationships within and outside the team
Bring a high level of enthusiasm and optimism. Encouraging a positive and open dialogue and providing constructive feedback to colleagues on privacy-related matters
Hard skills :
You are a French qualified privacy lawyer with a demonstrated experience in data protection, privacy (particularly in the field of advertising), and compliance roles at an international law firm or in-house
You can plan, and implement projects with multiple stakeholders
You are proficient in compliance management, including the ability to identify and assess risk and implement compliance to ensure adherence to regulations
You bring knowledge of privacy issues in the online environment, ideally in the marketplace / e-commerce or ad-tech business
Business fluency both in French and English
You preferably have a privacy certification such as CIPP/E/M
