Software Requirements:

• The role is for a business analyst with significant focus on technology.  Successful candidates must therefore have strong analyst skills, experience of gathering and managing requirements and technical knowledge as a significant part of the role is working with technical/IAM specialists.  They must also be experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders and gathering requirements and use cases from these individuals.

• Detailed oriented and meticulous in their documentation
• Experience in documenting existing processes and the "to be" state
• Ability to build test cases to validate compliance with target state
• Experience in creating artefacts for support/BAU processes
• Past experience in supporting a transition from development to operations
• Understanding of networking technologies including VPNs & Proxies
• Experience of working closely with IT developers/engineers and operational teams
• Ability to work with remote teams and communicate effectively using digital collaboration tools
• Root cause analysis skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Confident at presenting what they are working on
• Positive team player working as part of a large programme; questioning mind to fact find and challenge where appropriate
• Accountability for deliverables and proven track record of delivering on schedule
• Good time management
• Must be self-sufficient; able to deliver quality output without supervision
• Proficient with MS Excel, Confluence, Jira.

Skills:

• Previous experience of working in financial services, ideally HSBC experience
• Understanding of  MFA and Passwordless is beneficial
• Microsoft AD / EntraID / IAM experience
• Experience of working with global teams
• Experience with IAM account recover and reset journeys

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis.
• Experience with Requirement Gathering, Analysis, BRD's FRD's, User Stories, Use Cases, UAT. Agile, Scrum.
• Experience working with Cyber Security Domain is a must.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Participating in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions.
• Writing, testing, and deploying software solutions.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
• Staying current with the latest technology trends and advancements.
• Providing technical support to team members and resolving technical issues.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
