What you'll do

Reporting to the AVP, Cyber Governance Risk and Controls, the Senior Team Lead, Cyber Culture manages the cyber culture squad and leads the charge in reducing human risk across the enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive training and awareness strategy, fostering relationships across the company to promote the cyber safe mindset and measure and report on human risk reduction.

  • Lead the development and execution of an effective awareness and training plan to mitigate risk behaviors within the enterprise

  • Annual Cyber Awareness Training design, development, and support - ensure risk reduction by creating engaging training and messaging on our most significant cyber risks facing the organization

  • Phishing campaigns – oversee the design of quarterly templates for the general population and specific targets (spear phishing / whaling)

  • Board of Directors/Trustees Training (CTC, CTB, CT REIT, and Jumpstart) – reducing cyber risk by educating a group that is highly targeted by cyber criminals

  • Measure and report on cyber training compliance and human risk reduction to Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors

  • Cyber Champion Program design, development, and support – extending influence and carry of cyber secure messaging across various business units with the aim of deepening the culture of cyber security across the enterprise

  • Support CISO at enterprise Town Halls – building of cyber brand and fostering partnerships for cyber security throughout the organization

  • Ongoing cyber awareness campaign design, development, and support – ensuring that the organization is kept up to date on current trends and cyber threats by designing and communicating engaging and timely internal social media messages

  • Cyber Month design, development, and support – engaging the organization with cyber programs, events, and messages personnel can take home to friends and family, building brand of cyber security as trusted partners in the organization

  • Foster relationships with key partners such as Communications, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence teams to create behavior change, training, and communication plans aimed at reducing human cyber risks

  • Work in a SAFe Agile operating environment, promoting a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement

What you bring

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security, Adult Learning, Organizational Change Management, Mass Communications or Behavioral Science

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Communications, E-Learning or Organizational Change Management

  • Strong ability to develop strategic training and awareness programs

  • Excellent relationship-building skills to influence behavioral change across various business units

  • Proficient in creating engaging digital content for awareness campaigns

  • Experience measuring and reporting on compliance and risk reduction metrics

  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies is preferred

  • Experience working in Information Security and demonstrable understanding of information security and IT concepts

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills & skilled in executive level presentations and briefings

  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change

  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision

  • Excellent people and relationship building skills required 

  • CISSP and/or SSAP designation would be an asset
