JOB SUMMARY: The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking a dedicated Service Owner to coordinate our Security Administration Service, ensuring it aligns with ISO 20000 standards. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of security services within the Department’s information technology framework. The ideal candidate will serve as the point of coordination for the Security Administration Service, working closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to deliver security solutions that align with both internal operational goals and external compliance frameworks such as Florida Administrative Code 60GG-2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and IRS Publication 1075.
Responsibilities:
- Service Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of security services, ensuring that they are delivered according to ISO 20000 standards and support the Department's IRS Pub 1075 and Florida Administrative Code 60GG-2.
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Coordinate with the SOC and GRC teams to ensure that security monitoring and incident management processes support service management requirements.
- Compliance and Audit Coordination: Align service operations with state and federal compliance requirements, including IRS Pub 1075, working to maintain audit readiness.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and service sponsors, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of security goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve the security service’s effectiveness through performance metrics, service reviews, and process enhancements, with a focus on ISO 20000.
- Security Awareness and Training: Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure that security awareness programs meet established goals to educate stakeholders on security best practices and compliance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Six years or more of advanced level cybersecurity or technology analysis conducting research to identify, protect, or restore various information technology resources.
- Experience dealing with cybersecurity rules/standards, including F.A.C. 60GG-2, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or IRS Pub 1075.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer security, computer science, or closely related focus may substitute for four years.
PREFERENCES:
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 20000-related credentials.
- Experience working in government or heavily regulated industry.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and manage service delivery in a complex IT environment.
- Experience with security incident management, compliance audits, and developing security awareness programs.
- Experience managing IT services following ISO 20000 standards.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Position located in Tallahassee, Florida and is eligible for part time telework.
- The tentative salary for this position is $59,501.61.
- Interviews will be conducted on site for this position.
SALARY: $56,526.48 - $62,476.68.
