Job Description

Primary Function of Position

We are seeking a solution-oriented, customer-first minded, and hands-on professional to bring digital solutions to realization and provide total support for all networked and digital products. This role will be responsible to support the security assessment of information and communication systems, safe management of information and data, technical implementation and verification of our products and services, 2nd tier support for all Intuitive digital products and solutions with internal and external(hospital) stakeholders

Essential Job Duties

Technical Readiness and Implementation of Digital Solutions

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on technical specifications for digital solutions, supporting both customer and internal teams.
  • Pre-implementation verification to prepare site for remote connection and product installation.
  • Provide introductory level explanation and training to hospital IT department post implementation as needed
  • Validate configurations, installations, upgrades, and enhancements as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to installed digital products as 2nd tier support engineer such as Intuitive Hub, Telepresence, Onsite, Simnow, Case Insight, etc. integrated with Intuitive’s robotic platforms and within the hospital enterprise
  • Manage and escalate issues, complaint, requests, requirements, and product development opportunities to corporate and engineering teams. Also, log details in CRM systems

Collaboration and customer support

  • Partner with field service engineers, technical solution consultant and digital sales/marketing teams to maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Support for other regions, primarily APAC as needed
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years equivalent experience acceptable working in information security, information technology or network support center environment, preferably in the medical device industry. Current professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, MCSE, CCNA, CWNA, CWSP and CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certifications are preferred
  • Strong understanding of network operations, configuration, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, HTTPS, router skills, VLANs, VPN, firewall, NAT/PAT) required
  • Experience with LDAP, HL7, and DICOM, strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of core IT technologies and processes (network systems, OS, databases, access controls, change control processes, app, and system development, IT operations, incident response, monitoring, and asset management) required
  • Professional with great customer facing skills that can discuss technical information with a wide range of audiences
  • Complex problem-solving skills highly required
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong personal management and administrative ability
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • South Korean language: Native level
  • English language: Business level written and oral ability

Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security or information technology/engineering is preferred

Working Conditions

  • Able to enter operating room and other patient care areas
  • Occasional overseas travel required
  • Hybrid (Office/Remote)

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with cyber security and data privacy best practices
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO / NIST security frameworks
  • Knowledge of the South Korean Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection regulations
  • Experience with cloud Infrastructure and service is a plus
  • Keep current with understand overall trends in AI, ML and Cloud technologies
