Senior Test Engineer, Google Cloud Security

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Google Cloud, distributed systems, and test automation.
• Experience in software development or scripting with Python, Go.

Responsibilities

• Drive and improve operational performance - monitoring, alerting, performance, and availability.
• Reduce the operational toil significantly for the team through tools for developer productivity.
• Develop frameworks to ensure speed, safety and efficiency in build and rollouts to production.
• Build and own test infrastructure, test data management, and automation.
• Influence Engineering teams to adopt testing best practices, and ensure testability in the code produced.
