MS Amlin is looking for a Microsoft Security Engineer with strong a technical ability paired with natural and clear communication. This is an excellent opportunity to join a function of forward thinking and determined individuals to successfully collaborate and influence how Security is delivered and managed across the business.

You will be responsible for managing the controls that protect MS Amlin's computer networks, systems, and data from cyberattacks. You will work closely with IT teams to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, and they work with incident response to contain the damage from security incidents and prevent future attacks.

About The Job

What you’ll spend your time doing: 

While there is rarely a ‘typical’ day within this role, here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:

• Ensures secure configuration and management of the Microsoft suite of  security technologies
• Analyses and makes recommendations to improve the Microsoft suite of security capability including the wider network, system and application architectures
• Assists in the review and update of cyber security policies, architectures and standards
• Assisting in the development of security policies, standards and procedures.
• Researches, cyber security solutions for an MS Amlin in compliance with the applicable security policies and standards
• Supporting security Incident Response
• Supporting the design phase of any projects from a security perspective, including input into requirements and design reviews.
• Proactive review of existing toolsets, suggesting modifications to introduce new functionality and/or new processes to improve efficiency and increase security posture of the business.
• Assists in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
• Contributes to the design and implementation of the Microsoft Security capabilities used by MS Amlin

What you’ll need:

For this particular role there are some important qualifications and experience we need you to have. These include:

• Microsoft Security AZ-500 is essential, SC-100 is highly desirable.
• Strong technical experience of Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Experience in Cloud Security, ideally Azure.
• Experience in security system design, implementation and management.
• Experience in Cyber Incident Management.
• CCSP, CEH, CISSP or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
