- Supports the installation of S1 throughout the client’s environment including agent package creation, GPO creation/installation support, and Agent troubleshooting
- Supports the migration or uninstall of the S1 product, managing communication with client and relevant teams to ensure timely and secure offboarding procedures including actioning uninstall and providing uninstall support for client
- Evaluates, actions, and/or escalates security-related requests to ensure client business continuity while maintaining security including exclusions / Blacklist management, policy overrides, monthly full disk scans, and generating security requests (Health Checks, Threat Reviews)
- Performs actions that ensure the S1 agent is properly setup, updated regularly, and inform/resolve issues related to agent degradation including agent version testing, agent update scheduling/actioning, agent troubleshooting, agent maintenance notification (issues, updates, etc.)
- Ensures the S1 console is securely set up and maintained at every level (i.e., Global, Account, Site, Group, User) including S1 user account management/troubleshooting, and evaluating/applying policy overrides
- Assesses operational efficacy of current and proposed security tools for supporting Arete and client including S1 training for internal and external parties, S1 threat investigation support, and evaluating security tools (ex. Demos of SOAR, SIEM)
- May perform other duties as assigned by management
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Working understanding of private and public cloud infrastructure configurations and connectivity
- Understanding and working knowledge of common critical network protocols, OSI model and layer 7 technologies
- Technical competencies in the following areas: Microsoft’s O365/M365 and Azure Platforms, Other endpoint solutions (ie. Windows Defender), Active Directory, Group Policies, Information Security, MDM, SIEM Platforms, Virtualization, Windows Server, Scripting/PowerShell, Linux/Unix, Mac, DNS, SharePoint, Networking, Firewalls, REST API framework
- Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and customer service focused
- Current industry knowledge, best practices, and guidelines in a research capacity
- Familiar with CVE identification and end of life processes
- Experience involving technical project implementations and/or incident response engagements preferred
- Strong team player with the ability to conduct daily duties autonomously preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's degree and 6-8 years of experience involving work directly related to listed skill areas and equivalent to abilities or Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years related experience
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Ability to travel within continental US (up to 10%)
- Net+, Security+, Microsoft Azure fundamentals, Microsoft O365 fundaments, CISSP, CEH, SANS/GIAC, or similar certifications

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Arete salary and benefit policy.
FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY
Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
