The Network Technical Architect is responsible for defining the overall network technology vision and strategy for an organization, and for the design and implementation of systems and solutions that support the organization's goals and objectives. The Network Technical Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, software development teams, and IT operations teams to ensure that network technology solutions are aligned with the organization's needs, and are scalable, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define network technology vision and strategy: Develop and maintain the organization's network technology vision and strategy and ensure that network technology solutions are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Design and implement systems and solutions: Design and implement systems and solutions that support the organization's needs, and are scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their network technology needs and develop solutions that support their goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with software development teams: Work closely with software development teams to ensure that network technology solutions are implemented in accordance with best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with IT operations teams: Work closely with IT operations teams to ensure that network technology solutions are deployed and maintained in accordance with best practices and standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in the field of information network technology and make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies and solutions.
- Lead technical initiatives: Lead technical initiatives, including the development of proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, and network technology evaluations, to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of new technologies and solutions.
- Ensure security and compliance: Ensure that network technology solutions comply with relevant security and compliance standards and are secure and reliable.
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years networking experience. Associates degree in Networking and 10+ years of related experience.
- 10+ years of experience in technology design and architecture, with experience in leading and implementing large-scale technology solutions.
- Strong technical background, with a good understanding of software development and technology trends.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of architecture methodologies with experience in applying these methodologies in the design and implementation of technology solutions.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, with experience in leading and managing technology projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues related to the design and implementation of technology solutions.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA), Certified Cloud Architect (CCA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are highly desirable.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
