Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join our team. The Information Security Engineer provides tactical and operational support for the HSHS Information Security Team. This position is responsible for the management and oversight of the information security platforms as well as incident response.

Position Specifics:
• Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday
• Location: 100% remote, accepting applicants that can work remotely and live in AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, MT, NC, NE, NV, TN, TX, OH, WA, or WI.
• Compensation that aligns with your experience


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Associate degree in computer science, business, or related field and 3 years of Information Technology (IT) work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • A high school diploma and 5 years of IT work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Experience Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a level 2 or 3 technical support role, working with Windows, standard e-mail clients, server systems, web browsers, and technical utilities such as VPN, remote desktop, SSH (Secure Shell) and SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Comp TIA (Technology and Internet Assessment) Security+, or GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) Security Essential Certification or ability to obtain a security certification is preferred.

Pay Range:

$34.21 - $51.31

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
