Your role:

The Customer Trust team provides sales and customer support to build customer confidence in Global Relay security and privacy controls, compliance practices, technical architecture, and product functionality. The team focuses on proposal management, customer due diligence and security assessments, corporate information requests, and daily customer inquiries on trust-related topics.

The Senior Security Analyst, Customer Trust engages directly with customers to answer their security, privacy, and compliance questions. You’ll complete security and privacy questionnaires, support the Sales and Customer Success teams on customer calls, and work closely with the Security team to address customer security findings. This is a great opportunity for a security professional with excellent communication skills to contribute directly to sales and gain exposure to the security challenges and expectations of global banks and other large, highly regulated organizations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Complete security and privacy questionnaires for Global Relay customers and prospects.
  • Provide security and privacy expertise for RFPs with indepth security questions.
  • Assist Sales, Customer Success, and other support teams with customer security and privacy questions.
  • Support the Sales team on prospect calls where security and privacy expertise are required.
  • Support the Customer Success team on annual vendor review calls.
  • Work with the Security, Operations, Development, and other internal teams to research, write, and fact-check content for customer responses.
  • Assist the CISO with review and tracking of customer security findings.
  • Contribute to customer-facing documentation of the Global Relay security and privacy programs.
  • Assist the Lead, Customer Trust with annual reviews of high-risk Global Relay vendors.

About you:

  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, vendor risk, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and controls.
  • Experience with security audit frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • 2+ years of customer support experience, preferably in software or IT.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Independent worker who can manage multiple projects without supervision.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into polished and concise writing appropriate to the intended audience.
  • Ability to work with and influence all levels of staff—including executives and technical experts—without direct authority.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Ability to independently research and understand unfamiliar technical concepts.
  • Close attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
  • Strong judgement and ability to analyze and handle complex situations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a broad knowledge of Global Relay technology, services, operations, and business strategy.

Compensation:

Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background. 

The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees' work-life rhythms. We provide a comprehensive extended health benefits program, including virtual healthcare and a wellness allowance. Employees also receive annual allotted vacation days, which increase based on tenure. British Columbia - Base Salary Range:$80,000—$100,000 CAD
