Position Overview
The Novelis Cybersecurity team is seeking a Cloud Cybersecurity Lead. The person in this role will report to the Senior Manager IT Security Engineering. The ideal candidate will be:
- Lead role that will provide security control design and implementation for cloud aspects of Data Centers, remote sites, and plant automation.
- Assist with the technical infrastructure roadmap and provide guidance to our managed services partner.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and implementation strategies to better support the business and its initiatives.
- Develop/maintain technical standards, assist in evaluating and standardizing emerging technologies, and maintain technical operations globally.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering robust cybersecurity infrastructure environments and controls built to be highly available, expandable, and secure. These environments underpin Enterprise and Automation workloads that enable the business to operate.
- Deliver world class cybersecurity technology and controls over Hosting/Data Center Services to all Novelis locations regionally and drive execution excellence continuously:
- Setting up and configuring security tools and services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault to protect cloud resources.
- Identity and Access Management: Managing user identities and access to resources using Azure Active Directory (AAD) and implementing role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure that users have the appropriate permissions.
- Data Protection: Ensuring data security through encryption, data masking, and implementing data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
- Network Security: Configuring and managing network security groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and virtual network (VNet) peering to secure network traffic.
- Vulnerability Management: Regularly scanning for vulnerabilities and applying patches to keep the cloud environment secure.
- Security Audits and Assessments: Conducting security audits and assessments to identify potential security gaps and recommend improvements.
- Design, develop, and standardize server infrastructure models.
- Drive cybersecurity compliance and support disaster recovery readiness.
- Establish key performance indicators, metrics, and focus to drive the securing of hosting/data center operation organization.
- Manage 3rd party service providers as they relate to cloud security and security controls such as NTT Data, Microsoft, Cisco, and other managed service providers to meet and exceed SLA commitments.
- Leverage external partners and vendors to enhance effectiveness as needed.
- Responsible for providing support and review for all activities related to security of cloud hosted applications on cloud platforms.
- Support development of innovative solutions in cloud security and infrastructure technologies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, MIS or related field of study
- 5+ years of IT experience with designing, implementing, and managing Data Centers with a focus on cloud cybersecurity technologies
- 5+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows systems and implementing related security controls.
- Experience with cloud native technologies in common cloud environments including native security controls and third-party security technologies including examples such as CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management), CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), CIEM (Cloud Identity and Entitlement Management), CWP (Cloud Workload Protection) & EASM (External Attack Surface Management)
- Able to design and implement highly available cloud security solutions
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Familiar with Kubernetes and Docker
- Working knowledge of AD, DNS, networking
- Must be able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understands compliance regulations and security practices
- Experience working with/directing outsource/contract labor
- Experience in a global organization
- Demonstrated history of triaging complex problems in mission critical situations
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 yrs experience in a global organization Manufacturing organization experience preferred.
