Cloud Security Architect

The Opportunity

EY’s Cyber Security practice is one of the fastest growing areas of the business with an immediate requirement for a Cloud Security Architect. As part of our Cyber team you will be providing advisory and technical engineering to help our clients improve their cyber security posture to respond to the dynamic Cyber Security threats within a Public & Private cloud.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the remediation of misconfigurations that could expose customer assets
• Develop security guardrails in the cloud for developers and other stakeholders
• Enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities for customers cloud environments
• Overseeing the operations and management of the customer CSPM platform (Wiz) to ensure optimal security posture
• Support major incident response activities, as needed

• Coordinate response to incidents including scoping and root cause analysis, enacting improvement measures, and identifying and coordinating remediation efforts.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Completed technical higher education in the field of computer science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in operating, managing, designing, implementing, maintaining, or supporting cybersecurity technology in a cloud ecosystem
• Understanding of technologies and solutions utilized in cybersecurity and networks (CSPM, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Management/Intelligence.) & familiar with concepts like DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, etc.
• Previous exposure to cloud platforms and environments
• Relevant cybersecurity & cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) are mandatory
• Full professional proficiency in English, especially in technical writing and oral communications
