About the Area/Department:

Summary of the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join the engineering department of our Global Security Operations Center division. Your role will focus on developing and deploying state-of-the-art cloud security solutions. You will analyze security alerts, conduct threat modelling, and provide risk-based assessments to improve our detection and response capabilities. Part evangelist, you will be a champion of cloud security, educating system owners on potential threats and best practices and contributing to a culture of security awareness.

In this role you’ll:

• Deploy and Operate the Cloud security solutions used by Amadeus. Document the operational tasks and the day-to-day support guide.

• Optimize the solution to limit the false positive alert and alert fatigue.

• Produce technical documentation about the CNAPP solutions set up and operations customized for Amadeus environment.

• Develop and support the Use Case whitin the Factory UCs team.

  • Deliver CSPM/CWPP Technical Study and compare with the other solution in use in Amadeus (PRISMA Cloud, CrowdStrike). The study must present:

    • a SWOT analysis (Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat)

    • a financial comparison based on volume information provided by Amadeus

    • an operating model comparison

• Prepare RFP material for Cloud Security solutions meaning developing the document and requirement matrix that will be sent to the supplier applying for the RFP.

• Produce technical documentation about the CNAPP solutions set up and operations customized for Amadeus environment. 

• Develop and support the Use Case within the Factory UC team.

About the ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; +5 years of experience in the cybersecurity field and in a SOC dealing with defensive topics will be preferable, and have the following competencies:

• CNAPP (CSPM/CWPP/CIEM/DSPM/EASM/IASPM)

• Native Cloud Provider Security Solution

• SIEM

• SOC operations

• Infrastructure management

• Security incident definition​

Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills, capable of achieving results in a multicultural environment.
