About the role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Tech Compliance & Security Intern to dive into the world of fintech cybersecurity and compliance. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experts while contributing to impactful projects that help seQura stay compliant and secure.

What you'll do 🚀

• Dive headfirst into the world of tech compliance and security by learning about fintech industry cyber threats and regulations as they apply to seQura.
• Collaborate with security and tech experts to design and implement technical controls based on frameworks like CIS or NIST.
• Participate in internal and external audits, including evidence collection and vulnerability scans.
• Gain hands-on experience with compliance tasks such as documenting and implementing controls, researching regulations, and supporting the tech compliance team.
• Contribute to real-world projects that directly impact a growing business by ensuring compliance and protecting users.

Requirements

• A tech enthusiast with an interest in the cloud and basic knowledge of containers (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Programming skills with the ability to automate repetitive tasks (our stack includes Ruby, Terraform, Groovy, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and curiosity about the intersection of technology and law.
• A quick learner who is fearless in asking questions and eager to apply new information.
• An autonomous investigator with the ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Passionate about ethics and responsible technology.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI, ISO 27001, or DORA.
• Experience with security tools like BURP, ZAP, Nessus, or Acunetix.
