Job Position: SOC Analyst

Experience: 2+ Years

Job Location: Remote

Shift: Rotational Shift

Base location: Gurgaon

 Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
• Review and triage information security alerts, provide analysis, and determine
 and track remediation, and escalate as appropriate.
 • Assist with log management and security information and event
 management (SIEM) solutions design and configuration.
 • Perform incident response within the area of responsibility.
 • Participate in digital forensics activities while responding to security
 incidents.
 • Ensure authorized access by investigating improper access, revoking access,
 reporting violations, and monitoring information requests.
 • Perform installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of security
 applications and appliances across all functional departments.
 • May perform other duties as assigned including work in other areas to cover
 absences or relief to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the
 workload.
 • Document processes and procedures as required.
 • Investigate and research improvements on existing workflows to improve
 efficiency.

Education and Experience
• Associate's degree in Engineering, InfoSec, or Computer Science.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineers, InfoSec, or Computer Science.
• Background in delivering projects in a timely fashion.
• 2+ years of work experience.
• CISSP Certification is a plus.
• Practical experience with deployment and/or operation of commonly used
information security solutions
• Knowledge of current security threats, techniques, and landscape
• Practical experience in security incident response and digital forensics is an
asset
• Scripting in one of common scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell) is
an asset.
