Dragonfli Group is currently seeking a highly skilled NERC CIP Systems Engineer to support a critical project involving the integration and customization of the AssurX platform, specifically focusing on the latest ECOS modules.


Job Description:

As a NERC CIP Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our compliance with NERC CIP standards through the effective integration and customization of the AssurX platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance the AssurX ECOS modules, optimizing our compliance processes and ensuring the security and reliability of our critical infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of the AssurX platform within our utility environment, focusing on the latest ECOS modules.
  • Customize AssurX modules to meet specific NERC CIP compliance requirements and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Managers, IT Security Analysts, Risk Managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Develop and implement workflows, dashboards, and reports within AssurX to streamline compliance activities.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of the AssurX tool.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AssurX system performance, ensuring seamless operation and integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Document all configurations, customizations, and integration processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest NERC CIP standards and AssurX product updates, ensuring our systems remain compliant and optimized.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed customizations in the AssurX ECOS modules to enhance functionality and meet specific user needs.
  • Develop custom scripts, plugins, and interfaces to extend the capabilities of the AssurX platform.
  • Design and implement custom forms and fields in AssurX to capture necessary compliance and operational data.
  • Create and manage custom notification and alert systems within AssurX to ensure timely responses to compliance issues.
  • Integrate AssurX ECOS modules with other enterprise systems and databases to enable seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for all customizations to ensure they meet specified requirements and function correctly in the production environment.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for custom AssurX configurations, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with NERC CIP standards and compliance in a utility environment.
  • Proven experience with AssurX platform integration and customization, specifically with the latest ECOS modules.
  • Strong understanding of NERC CIP requirements and best practices for critical infrastructure protection.
  • Proficiency in developing and configuring workflows, dashboards, and reports in AssurX.
  • Experience with risk management, incident response, and compliance tracking using AssurX.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Skill(s)

  • Experience with other quality management and compliance tools.
  • Certifications in NERC CIP compliance or related areas.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices related to critical infrastructure.
  • Experience in conducting user training and support for compliance tools.
