Purpose

This role ensures that the organization's functions are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Key Missions

  • Monitors, reviews, and analyzes any applicable law and regulation related to compliance and/or data privacy
  • Checks adaptability of applicable laws and regulations and determines compliance obligations
  • Develops, implements, and updates compliance and/or data privacy policies, standards, and procedures
  • Analyzes and discusses conclusions from internal controls and external reviews and implements corrective actions if deemed necessary
  • Creates and delivers compliance and/or data privacy trainings and raises awareness through regular communication campaigns
  • Provides support and expertise to employees in relation to compliance and/or data privacy
  • Conducts and regularly update compliance and/or data privacy risk assessments and manages risk remediation plans
  • Reports regularly on key performance indicators
  • Collaborates with the Crisis Management Team in case of data privacy violation
  • Manages relations with regulatory bodies related to compliance and/or data privacy issues
  • Defines the annual strategy as well as the roadmap associated to it, and deploys it
  • Manages all projects and teams for the organization
  • Reports quarterly/annually to the Top Management
