We are seeking an experienced ISSO to join our team and support our Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in maintaining robust information assurance posture for our systems, programs, and enclaves. This role is critical in ensuring our cybersecurity compliance and operational security.


Key Responsibilities:
Operational Security Management
• Maintain and enhance operational security posture for assigned information systems and programs
• Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Compliance
• Prepare and maintain RMF system accreditation packages using tools like ServiceNow, eMASS, or XACTA
• Develop System Security Plans (SSPs) and provide recommendations for obtaining ATOs • Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools such as ACAS/Nessus
• Perform STIG checklist completions and monitor IAVM compliance
Documentation and Reporting
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation including architecture, hardware/soft ware lists, and dataflows
• Translate technical IS configurations into non-technical documentation
• Report on assessment and authorization statuses as per organizational guidelines
Policy and Procedure Development
• Establish and publish cybersecurity policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Proven experience in information system security roles
• Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST guidelines, and cybersecurity best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Must Have:
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Must have at a minimum Security+ CE Certification
• Associate’s Degree or higher and 5+ years of experience or experience in lieu of education

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
