Who we are looking for

This is a technical position in State Street Global Cybersecurity IAM Organization’s Architecture and Engineering team. The candidate has proven technology expertise in areas including Systems Engineering and full Software development life cycle (analysis, design, and execution). The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Position is with the IAM database access provisioning development and support team
  • Analyze current database security controls and make recommendations for improving the security posture
  • Communicate and coordinate with business and technology teams to provide guidance to ensure understanding of and compliance with security controls and vulnerability remediation
  • Work with and act as a bridge between the support and development teams to communicate and clarify security requirements
  • Document security control policies and SOPs

What you will be responsible for

  • Experience in identity and access management domain. Experience working with Audit and Forensics, work experience in Financial Services (regulated) industry desirable
  • Customer/client advocacy/support experience/mind-set. Fast learner. Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Database Administration and Database Architect competencies, with a Security focus
  • Exposure to/expertise in multiple database servers - including but not limited to, Oracle, Oracle Exadata, Oracle OCI, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase, PostgreSQL
  • Strong SQL skills. Experience with PL/SQL, Linux, Cloud webservices, web servers (e.g. Apache), and application servers (e.g. Tomcat)
  • Understanding of Secure API Development. Development background. Technical proficiency in Java/J2EE. Full stack web development in at least one industry standard stack.

  • Security domain knowledge with relevant security certifications e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP/CSSLP
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions such as PaaS and IaaS on leading cloud platforms with experience in cloud security will be a plus
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, focused, global scrum team

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Assist in release and Production validation process
  • Provide L3 and L4 support, as needed
  • Work with internal and external auditors
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering/science disciple or equivalent experience 4+ years.

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
