Security Architect

• Wilhelmsen Port Services is looking for a Security Architect.

  Purpose:

  To ensure that technology solutions implemented within Port Services can adequately protect and safeguard information, data and business continuity in compliance with relevant legislative requirements. 

  What you will be doing:

• Reviewing current system and process security measures and recommending and overseeing implementation of enhancements, including framework, policy and procedures. 

• Facilitating regular audits of security measures to ensure protection and behaviour is as expected. 

• Contributing towards business continuity planning and conducting security and compliance related drills as required. 

• Promptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analysis. 

• Maintains a good knowledge of current practice and awareness of current developments within own area(s) of expertise. Demonstrate awareness of areas outside own specialism, as appropriate. 

• Assist in establishing the technology strategy aligned with the overall IT architecture. Contribute towards technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.  

• Participate in customer team meetings to gather business and technical requirements for projects.  

• Apply and share knowledge; contribute ideas and opinions. 

• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical continuity and divisional priorities are met  

Additional skills and experience we are looking for: 

• Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security and reliability 

• Strong working knowledge in compliance frameworks and requirements eg GDPR. 

• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication and authorization. 

• Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions 

• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook 

• Demonstrated experience working in an agile team and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
