Position Requirements

What Experience You'll Need:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related program.  
  • 5+ years of previous experience in Technology/Cyber Audit experience, including:
    • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and general technology risks, controls and practices and be comfortable researching emerging technologies and control frameworks.  
    • Exceptional data analytics and technical skills.
    • Solid experience evaluating control design and testing operating effectiveness of controls in the domains of Technology, information security, data, and cybersecurity.
    • Proven project and time management skills, including responsibility for audit quality, accuracy of results and delivery of audits within a timely manner.
    • Regular Audit report writing experience.
    • Ability to interact effectively with senior management.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to clearly articulate and present findings, recommendations, and associated risk.
    • Ability to coach and mentor less experienced auditors.  
 
What Could Set You Apart:
  • Relevant cybersecurity/technology certifications (CISA, CISSP, GCCC, CSX, Network / Security +, etc.).
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Associates are encouraged to have earned the GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC) within 12 months of their hire date. Our department will sponsor one test attempt and enrollment in a related course offered by the SANS Institute: "SEC440: CIS Critical Controls".
  • Advanced degree or MBA in related fields (e.g., Accountancy, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science). 
  • Public accounting or consulting experience in Technology Audit. 

***Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.***

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.  Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing.
